Artistic Director

Morey began her dance career as a gymnast at Walker’s Gymnastics. She continued on to dance at Westford Dance Academy excelling in all styles of dance. She was the Co-Founder/Director of the first ever Chelmsford High School Dance Team in 2001. During her senior year of high school, she was chosen as a backup dancer for an up and coming solo artist. She was also the Lead Dance instructor for Chelmsford Community Education. Morey studied Early Childhood Education at Fitchburg State University where she was selected to participate in the FSU dance team, and had the opportunity to partake in several genres of dance. She created and taught the Advanced Theatrical class and assisted the Advanced Hip Hop class for three great years and was voted Teacher of the Year for her senior year. She was also co-captain and lead flyer for Fitchburg States’ cheerleading team for three years.

After college, she began her journey with Bates Entertainment as a Premier Dancer. She has performed live for thousands of people in Boston at charity events such as Christmas in the City and for hundreds of events across New England. She has coordinated entertainment events and was hired as a backup dancer for Premiere MC’s in Los Angeles, New York, New Orleans, and throughtout the region.

Morey has sought out and hired other professional entertainers like herself, including actors, singers, dancers, and many more for live shows at amusement parks such as Canobie Lake Park as well as hundreds of events in and around Boston. At The Phunk Shoppe in Needham, MA she took the senior and junior competitive teams down the road to victory in several local competitions! For the three years, Morey directed an Elite Competitive/Performance group that traveled all over New England, Florida, and the Bahamas. 

Throughout the past nine years Morey has owned and operated Studio A Dance Company. She has trained all ages in multiple genres of dance as well as brought dancers to National competitions where they placed first overall out of 1000's of competitors. She has created multiple performance opportunities for young girls/boys and young adults to perform, train, and travel throughout the United States and internationally. She has lead dancers to perform LIVE at the Orange Bowl Half Time Show along side country music star, Dierks Bentley. Her dancers have also performed at the world famous Indianapolis 500, and to the Liberty Bowl in Memphis Tennessee where her dancers performed along side the legends, The Isley Brothers.
